How to Adjust the Brightness and Contrast of Images in Krita

In this tutorial, we'll learn how adjust the brightness and contrast of images and photos in Krita (version 5.2), including increasing the contrast, decreasing the contrast, making dark images brighter, and making bright images darker. These techniques can be used in other image-editing applications, as most of them will have the same tools we'll use in this tutorial. It can also be very useful when used in combination with other filters to create complex effects.

To adjust the brightness and contrast of an image in Krita, follow the following steps:

1: open Krita and open the photo you want to edit in it.

2: add a filter to the image. There are two filters we can use for this: "Adjust -> Color Adjustment" or "Adjust -> Levels."

3: change the filter settings until you get the result you want, then click OK to apply the filter.

4: save the image.
