What is a "Laptop"?
A laptop is a type of computer that has a keyboard and a screen integrated as a single portable device. Presumably, it's called "laptop" because you place it on top of your lap, just like a desktop computer is placed on top of a computer desk. Laptops don't have space for a numpad. Laptops may have a touchpad surface to control the mouse cursor without a mouse.
