To create a secondary blog on Tumblr, follow the following steps:
1: on the sidebar menu, click on "Account" to reveal your blogs.
2: where it says "Blogs," click on the link "+ New" on the right side.
Observation: you must verify your e-mail address before progressing. If you haven't confirmed it yet, Tumblr will tell you that you have to verify it first.
You'll be shown a form for creating a new blog.
3: type the title (display name) for your new blog and its "URL" (which would be a text code like your username, no spaces). You'll be able to change both of these later if you wish.
4: prove that you are not a robot by solving the captcha.
5: click on "Create blog." Your new blog will be created.
Tip: when you have multiple blogs, you can select which blog to post to by clicking on a dropdown menu in the top-left corner of the new post dialog window.
Tip: this dropdown menu also appears when you click the reblog button on a post, so you could create a secondary blog just to reblog kittens that appear on your dash, for example, smash that reblog button every time you see a kitten, and quickly switch from your primary blog to secondary using that dropdown menu to just for that one kitten. It's a similar dropdown to what you have on Pinterest for saving to boards.
